Jamorama Guitar Lessons Review
Learn Guitar Online
I was 10 years old when I
was bitten by the guitar bug. All I could
think of was learning to play the guitar! Back in my time there was no way to learn guitar online.
It used to be that the only way you could ever learn was of course by and
through your friends and watching other musicians or with a teacher. These days you have at
your disposal the most amazing array of guitar learning programs I could ever imagine.
Enter Jamorama.

Best Online Beginner
Choice 4 Stars Guitar challenges
To learn guitar online or face-to-face is no easy feat at
first. Unlike the piano, where the keyboard is laid out in front of you and one "C" chord is much like another,
guitar poses a very different visual challenge.
The same "C" chord is played in many different positions
with seemingly no relation to each other! This is very hard for the beginner and is combined with use of the
pick, the use of the fingers, notation or tablature and on and
on.
All of this means you really need a time proven
method and course to guide you along until you have the proficiency to go on your own.
Jamorama is such a
course. It covers all of the basics from
beginner to intermediate with online lessons and a physical version is available.
Jamorama has 64 new video examples and exercises. That makes 148 videos in
all that perfectly compliment the five exclusive computer games aand ebooks that come in the Jamorama
Learning Kit. These speed the learning of musical notes, transcribing and and reading written
music.Ben Edwards and his team at Jamorama realize that no one wants to play boring drills over and over
so they include lots of jam tracks to start you playing music right away. Ben is a very
accomplished guitar payer in his own right so he knows what he is talking about. He really makes it easy and
fun to learn guitar online.
Step by Step Video and Audio
It has step by step audio
examples and wonderful video, diagrams and unbelievable customer support.
I They even have a free
mini-course that will allow you to try it out and see for yourself. They have also come out with a
Jamorama Lead Guitar now if you want to take your playing to another level. They have an
eight week trial period for you to be completely satisfied. You can't beat that kind of
offer.
Jamorama is the best of the basic guitar
lessons available online. You can buy a physical download but it is much more expensive and all of
the lessons and jam tracks are online. The basic version is a whole lot of guitar lessons for the price of one or
two lessons in person. It is easily one years' worth of lessons for the beginner. If you took a
lesson a week at $50 with an instructor, that would be $2500 by the years end, so it is definitely money well
spent.
You must be willing to learn online and be self
motivated. You will have no teacher to push you and tell you to get off the couch and practice. Especially when you
are first learning it is important not to waste money on a private lesson to teach you how to tune the guitar or something very simple. Jamorama is a value that I
highly recommend for beginning guitarists especially. More advanced students might want to buy the
Jamorama Lead Guitar series.

-

where you can get help with specific training problems.
Cons:
- The basic, affordable version is all online so a bit less convenient than playing a dvd. The physical
version would solve this problem quickly. It currently retails at $199.
- A little cumbersome to navigate. Having to download the lesson first, then navigate back to the lesson page
to view it creates a few extra steps.
- Slightly too much emphasis on TAB, in my book, but I am a big proponent of learning to read music.
- I am not much of a fan of online programs because there is too much downloading and logging in and so
forth, btu if you are comfortable with the web interface this is an excellent value.
